Well-organized tour, leaving early in the morning from the center of Sofia with a 45-person bus, you can decide whether to be guided (English-speaking guide) or proceed independently during the day. The guide Megi was very careful to explain the entire organization of the day and give us all the necessary information both at the monastery and during the walk, even leaving some moments to manage independently. The walk is suitable for everyone (steep climb at the beginning, then the rest of the route is quite simple), with Megi who was very careful not to leave anyone behind and to proceed at a pace suitable for everyone, with stops to give us the necessary information. The tour includes 5 of the lakes, but you are free to proceed more quickly on your own to be able to see them all. The only downside is the tight pace (the visit to the monastery is rather short) and the long bus journeys, unfortunately unavoidable to manage to see everything in one day! I recommend it, I would do it again!★

A perfect excursion to fully enjoy the 7 lakes. We had 6 hours there, and I was even able to hike to the viewpoint and back without using the chairlift. Our guide, Phillip, gave excellent advice and was very kind. I highly recommend it!★

The monastery was very beautiful and the 7 Rila lakes was amazing as well the walk is about 2-3 hours and very beautiful. The guide made a good atmosphere in the car and the people were also very nice★

We had an incredible time on the Rila Monastery! Our guide, Georgii was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The absolute highlight was the history of the Rila Monastery and of course the SPA-very relaxing! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sofia!★

Such a beautiful day at the 7 Rila Lakes with Lyubo as our guide :) He was honestly so lovely, kind, and caring from the beginning until the end. You can really feel that he loves what he does and wants everyone to have their best time in Bulgaria. The views were absolutely amazing, but having such a warm and wonderful person guiding us made it unforgettable. Thank you so much, Lyubo! 🤗
