My husband and I really enjoyed riding Icelandic horses! Or as they are better known, Mighting Viking Steeds! Ishestar had a small bus pick us up and bring us back to downtown Reykjavik, which was super convenient. The staff was really great, and they help match each rider to a horse of their own skill level. All of the horses are so well cared for, and super cute of course! We rode through the largest laval field in Iceland, and it was stunning! The horses are all very well mannered. I can't imagine that anyone would have an issue on these rides. The whole ride from start to finish was about 2.5 hours. If you love horses or just being in nature, I definitely recommend this activity!

Claire the guide was lovely , I dropped my 16 year old daughter off and Claire was super friendly. My daughter had amazing time and said Claire was amazing. The horses are beautiful and just the most gentle and charming horses I have ever met. What an awesome experience with a very welcoming and caring guide and atmosphere.


