Great time! Family of four (52, 51, 18, 16) hike was 14 miles and took 9.5 hrs. More difficult than I expected - rocks for the final mile to summit are slippery and challenging in the rain, and trail was crowded at some points where it narrows. View is unbelievable!

It was a wonderful experience. Truly amazing. The Pisco Sour was delicious. However, the check-in and boat departure times should be more precise (not having to be there by 11:00 AM). If you book a tour for 12:00 PM, check-in isn't until 12:00 PM, then you walk 3 km/45 minutes to the boat. Alternatively, you can take a bus or shuttle from Hotel Grey about 1 km to the Pingo restaurant and start the short hike to the boat from there. Boarding began at 12:45 PM. The boat departed at 1:00 PM. We were back on the beach at 3:35 PM and could then stroll back at a leisurely pace.
