I did two trips with this travel agent which were both fantastic. I was visiting Puerto Madryn for the wildlife and so I had one full day tour to Peninsula Valdes and another full day tour to the penguin colony at Punta Tombo, stopping at Gaiman for a Welsh Tea on the way back.
The wildlife in the area is absolutely incredible and it was wonderful to see Magellanic penguins close up as well as elephant seals and sea lions. I was not visiting at the right time of the year to see the Southern Right Wales but if you visit during June-October they come close to the beach.
The guides on both tours were well informed and had lots of information. There is quite a lot of driving to get to the wildlife sites, and we were kept entertained on the minibus by the guides (although there was also the opportunity to have a sleep!) The tours were available in English as well as Spanish, although most people on the tours I went on were Spanish speakers.★

While this was a long drive 2.5 hours each way, it was well worth the drive to see the magnificent Maggellan penguin colony. Our timing was right to see lots of about 6 week old babies. The setting was absolutely beautiful in a very rugged way. Our tour guide, Mariana, was charming, professional and entertaining. Her knowledge was impressive. Our ship arrived late- while we were stressed by the delay, she took it in her stride .
Group size (20ish) was ideal - no delays getting on and off the bus. The lunch provided was appropriate and generous. The bus was comfortable and driver Willie handled it competently and pleasantly.★

We did the tour with Sussanich Turismo, by private car, to Punta Tombo to see the penguins. This was a fantastic tour, and I am so grateful we did it by private car.
From beginning to end, the tour company- Sussanich Turismo - was excellent to work with. Great and frequent communication- never any doubt about what to do, where to be etc.
Our driver/guide was Maxi. He was excellent- friendly and knowledgeable. By being a private tour just for the two of us- we got started quickly. Maxi got us to Punta Tombo 40 minutes before the tour buses arrived (that changes the dynamics quite a bit).
We had a great time seeing the penguins and learning about their habitat. I was amazed at how completely oblivious they were to us in close proximity. It was all very interesting. We also saw a variety of birds, herds of guanacos, and even the “hairy armadillo”.
The excursion is a fairly long day, but it was worth it - definitely do the private car like we did and not a group tour!★
