Gustavo was a brilliant guide, very polite and professional, attentive and clear. I’ve deeply enjoyed all his insights and explanations about the wild life and his efforts to keep us safe and entertained. We haven’t seen “major players” of the forest, but Gustavo did his best searching for the best routes and the signs of animals and explaining us the forest dynamics. So even though puma or tapir didn’t come to say hello today, I’ve still really enjoyed the experience. And I would definitely recommend Gustavo as a guide. And I’m grateful for kind and precise online booking assistance and organization of the tour. Everything was on time, and the company even accommodated different dietary requirements, so it was just brilliant.

Vincent is an excellent and passionate guide. He searches for animals by scent, tracks, and sounds, and even imitates them! An interesting tour! Our boat driver was attentive to our comfort, adapting his driving to the waves.

It was perfect! The guide spotted so many animals. Among them were tapirs and, my highlight, the anteater with its baby. He also provided great background information. Absolutely fantastic. We had booked with others the day before, and it was a rip-off, to say the least. We were all the more glad we booked this activity. We'd do it again anytime! Absolutely top-notch and highly recommended for an unforgettable vacation experience.

Top Top Top! Ramon, our guide was great! From the beginning to the end he was 100% helpful in all topics. As I had brought only my Tefas because I thought it´s clever when getting on and off the boat and also for walking, he wasn´t that happy with my choice, so he quickly drove me to my appartment to pick up my normal walking shoes which was 5 min with the car. Gracias for that Ramon! So, please note that you need some real shoes (hiking or sport shoes for the jungle experience! Or maybe boots!) After an unforgettable speed boat ride (seeing a bunch of Dolphins!) to the entrance of the NP we immediately started our tour in one direction of the park. Remember, when you book only a daytour there is a lot of time "lost" due to getting there, so you actually have only about 3 hours net time maybe (excl. lunch). In terms of spotting, Ramon is a PRO! He spots birds and mammals quicker you can imagine, I mean he already has the feeling ;-) And because my eyes are not the sharpest anymore but I brought a quite nice Zoom Camera with me, he often shot with it and did a real good job on that! For the ones with cellphones only, don´t panic, the guides all have their monocular with quite an impressive magnification. And Ramon is a PRO as well in holding the cellphone in front of the monocular and using it as a zoom lense for the phone. Cool! So we did a walk on one side and after a short break at the other side and after that we had lunch including crocodile watching near the lunch place. Then we rode back to Uvita.


