The entire process at the cheese factory—from actually seeing the manufacturing process and listening to explanations to tasting—was incredibly informative and fun. It was a truly great experience. At the prosciutto factory, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't see the curing process firsthand after the raw meat trimming. However, it was nice to witness the meticulousness of the artisans. The final balsamic factory was a little regrettable as it only offered explanations, but overall, it was good. The pairing of ice cream with balsamic vinegar was an unexpected surprise. Thanks to the guide's explanations and leadership, I was able to tour comfortably. However, while the details did lack a bit in the order of the cheese factory, prosciutto factory, and balsamic farm, it was still enjoyable.

A French-speaking guide helped us discover the little secrets of Parma, interspersed with tastings (pastries, cheese, and cured meats). The explanations of the products tasted were excellent.

The following areas had excellent signal: Italy (Rome, Milan, Monza, Padua, Belluno, Venice, Ravenna), Austria (Salzburg, Innsbruck), and Germany (Munich, Frankfurt). However, the signal in Florence was intermittent. My travel companions also reported the same issue with eSIM, which affected their Google Maps usage. This may be due to the generally poor signal in the area.

Incredible trip where we got to see the full process for making parmigiano reggiano, view the aging process for prosciutto di Parma, and visit a grape farm in Modena. All of these stops had incredible samples and options to purchase.


