I activated my SIM card back in Russia, and when I landed in Istanbul, I turned on the phone and the SIM card worked immediately. It worked perfectly in Istanbul, and then in cities in France – also great. In Italy, the connection was spotty, even in central Rome, it simply stopped working. But overall, for the price, everything was great; 2 GB per day was more than enough, considering I had Wi-Fi connected at the hotel.★

It works well in the city, but the signal is often weak in tunnels or underground. In some areas of the Dolomites, there's no signal at all, and I frequently receive calls from unknown numbers with long sentences in French.★
