I traveled from Kansai Airport to Tennoji, and at the airport, if I changed my ticket through a staff member, they assigned me a reserved seat for free. They did this twice... On the return trip from Tennoji to the airport, they gave me a non-reserved seat... It is convenient because I could change tickets easily.★

I recommend this if you want to travel comfortably from the airport to Namba! You can easily select your seat and time at the local ticket office. However, if you want to travel more cheaply (around 500 yen), you won't lose as much time as you might think even if you take the regular train.★

I was in a hurry to get to Umeda, so I chose the Haruka train, which is direct. I used an e-ticket, which I registered on the JR West website and entered by pasting my ticket number. After immigration, I simply selected a reserved seat according to my time, which was very convenient. To board the train, I went up to the second floor after immigration to the tram platform. I entered through the JR gate and queued for the ground-level Haruka carriage.★
