This itinerary is highly recommended! š Visiting temples is a common part of any trip to Japan, and they're often quite similar, but Katsuo-ji Temple is exceptionally beautiful and uniquely designed. The temple grounds are filled with adorable little Daruma dolls placed throughout. This itinerary also includes outlet shopping for bargains. After walking around the outlet, our legs were sore, so we immediately headed to a hot spring resort for a foot bath. Having visited Osaka several times, this day trip still offers fresh sights and great flexibility. Finally, a shout-out to our Beijing friend, Mr. Cheng, for providing a safe and comfortable ride. He chatted with us throughout the journey, and we'll definitely use him again next time!ā

1ļøā£ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
ā Take the cable car to the top (round trip Ā„720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
ā Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2ļøā£ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
ā Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
ā Rent a bicycle (Ā„500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3ļøā£ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
ā Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from Ā„800).

If I had to pick the best decision I made during my recent trip to Japan with my friends, it would definitely be the guided tour of Kyoto Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fox Shrine, and Nara Park! Thanks to our Kumon-gil guide, we were able to learn so many hidden stories and local tips that we might have missed if we had gone alone.ā

It was too far for me to go to those two places on my own, so I decided to join a tour. I was surprised by how great the experience was. The bus was comfortable, the tour guide was very friendly, and the scenery was amazing. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely choose a tour again next time.
