The best way to explore Nikko! I use Nikko Pass All area for 4 days, which costs one round trip to Yumoto onsen from the train station. All other trips are a bonus: boat cruise, bus to Hangetsusan, trains to Kinugawa onsen, free day visit to onsen in Kotoku Asteria hotel and even local trains from Asakusa to Tobu Nikko station. Great! Higher recommend.★

Purchasing the JR TOKYO Wide Pass was honestly one of the best decisions for my Japan trip! Instead of buying individual train tickets for every journey, I could enjoy unlimited rides on eligible JR trains within the pass's coverage area for three consecutive days. Since I planned to visit places outside central Tokyo, such as Kawaguchiko and other destinations, it helped make transportation planning much easier. This is a great deal on a transportation ticket; only 6500 yen for 5 days. The platform offers a 10% discount on transportation in Japan, making it incredibly cheap. It allows you to go to Nikko, Odaiba, Kawagoe, and even take the Tokyu Seko Line to Gotokuji Temple to see the Maneki-neko (beckoning cat). Since it's an electronic ticket, I recommend buying it separately to avoid having to travel together. At smaller stations, you need to press the call button and tell the staff you're using the ticket; it's quite convenient. A good transportation app will remind you if there are any surcharges.
