After downloading, it showed successful activation, but the internet connection still wouldn't turn on for a long time. Because it's used across borders, the signal strength varies from country to country. In Chile, the signal is generally good on beaches, but drops off on highways, and is intermittent around the airport. In Brazil, it completely depends on the region and luck! It's unreliable in the lagoon area, and the situation varies by the sea!

A must-have for Aussies traveling to Asia – huge savings compared to roaming Rating: 5/5. This was my second time using this eSIM, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for Australians traveling to Asia. I did the math, and the cost savings are significant. To put it in perspective, I looked at the big Australian telcos' roaming fees: · Vodafone & Optus have a daily roaming rate of AUD $5 for international data. · Telstra's similar plan will cost you AUD $10 per day. I bought the SIM card for a trip to Latin America, and it worked everywhere except Bolivia, as stated in the plan. In Peru, the connection was often lost, and I had to manually select a carrier, but this could be due to the mountainous terrain. Overall, I recommend it.

In Iguazu, on the Argentina side, there was almost no internet, but in Brazil, it was good (5G). Buenos Aires had a good connection. In El Calafate, the city itself had no connection near the glacier, and there was no connection on the way to the airport. In Rio de Janeiro, it was good.
