Our tour leader, Qian, was very interesting, introducing a lot about Okinawa's history and culture in a humorous way. All the itineraries were on time, and public transportation outside Naha is practically nonexistent, making a day trip a perfect choice. The itinerary was well-planned and excellent! 👍 The day of our trip coincided with a Japanese holiday, and it was my first time being surprised by how crowded the Churaumi Aquarium was 😅 Fortunately, Qian had informed us of the tour order on the bus beforehand, saving us a lot of time.★

Tokashiki Island, just a 40-minute high-speed ferry ride from Naha Port, is definitely a hidden gem for a day trip in Okinawa! ✨ A shuttle bus takes you directly to Aharen Beach after disembarking. The "Kerama Blue" water is so clear it's like a transparent sapphire; just a few meters out, you'll encounter colorful corals and schools of fish. If you're lucky, you might even spot a sea turtle slowly brushing past you while snorkeling! The island has no noisy water sports, fine white sand beaches, and an observation deck offering panoramic views of the entire bay. Even the breeze blowing through the coconut palms carries the soft scent of sea salt. The included Okinawan curry rice is warm and comforting, and the relaxed feeling of not having to rush is incredibly soothing. Watching the sunset spread across the sea on the return ferry in the evening, even your worries are gently swept away by the waves.★

I absolutely loved everything! Everything was on time and on route. The guide was wonderful, she explained everything in every language, communicated with everyone, took her time, and answered questions! Thank you so much 😍🙏🏼 The aquarium was amazing! This is a good one if you want to visit the North side of okinawa. Most of the tour is self guided. It hits most of the pokemon manhole lids if you're after that. On Kouri Island, you can take a dip in the beach so bring proper clothing for after if you do. In Chaurumi, there may not be time to eat. Either you eat at the restaurant right by the entrance or wait your turn at the Cafe. You won't be able to finish most of the aquarium. Okashigoten factory is part of it. If you haven't bought anything yet, you can get it here with a free gift (bag and/or magnet). American village at Chatan is huge so you may want to scope out before hand if you want to eat there. It's only an hour. The tour brings you to far places that would take ages if you take the public bus.★

The excursion to Tokashiki Island in the Kerama Islands was excellent. In our case, the excursion was only to Tokashiki Island and Aharen Beach, which is stunning. The price is reasonable for what they offer, as you save very little by going on your own and you don't have to worry about coordinating ferry and bus schedules. If you're only there for a few days, you're paying for the peace and quiet. The food was very simple; we only had a choice between ramen (which wasn't very appealing in the heat) and curry rice, which had very little meat and was a bit too spicy for my taste. Once there, everything you need for a day at the beach is available for rent: umbrellas, towels, snorkeling gear, etc. We brought our own snorkeling gear but hardly used it because the water wasn't very clear that day. The only thing I didn't like was that the typical form they make you sign states in the terms and conditions that it's even mandatory to wear a life jacket on the boat, and I didn't see any life jackets anywhere. That surprised me.★

It was my first time snorkeling, so I was scared, but they double-checked the safety equipment and brought me back if I drifted out of the safety zone. Luckily, I was able to see a turtle as soon as I entered the water. However, they scared me quite a bit by telling me to be careful of the turtle, so at first, I was busy dodging them haha. Please keep this in mind if you want to take a photo with a turtle. I didn't bring a waterproof case because I saw reviews saying it wasn't necessary, but I still recommend bringing one. The photographer took a lot of pictures, but I was a bit disappointed because there was a specific fish I wanted to photograph. The underwater world was so incredibly beautiful and made me so happy. I highly recommend it.
