We had an amazing glacier hiking experience at Sólheimajökull, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Guillaume. From the very beginning he was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe on the ice. He explained clearly how to use the equipment and shared interesting facts about the glacier and how it’s changing, which made the hike even more meaningful. He was always checking that everyone was doing well, adjusting the pace so the whole group could enjoy the experience, and he also helped us take great photos along the way. You could really tell he loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made the tour even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide — highly recommended if you’re hiking on Sólheimajökull! Alberto

Weather looked a little intense at first (rain and wind) and we were considering bailing, but we decided to stick with the tour and are so happy we did! Andrea was fabulous and walking on the glacier was an awe-inspiring experience.
