If you love outdoors absolutely do this day trip. Personally I prefer this one to the cliffs of Moher day trip, it’s more thrilling and worth your money in my opinion.

The guide was fantastic. It's a shame he spoke a bit too fast and had an Irish accent, so we missed parts of the tour commentary. But they were so attentive that we forgave them :-)

I’m so glad I decided to do the tour. Even though it was pouring down most of the day, it was still so good! I enjoyed the guide, he was very knowledgeable and had some good tips. As it was raining very heavily, we couldn’t stop at every intended stop, but I didn’t mind. It looked just as nice from inside the dry bus :) The main stop was at Kylemore Abbey and the Victorian Gardens and it was beautiful there. I took lunch at the Garden Teahouse and then walked back to the Abbey. On my walk back I eve saw some sheep standing by the side of the road. Overall I really enjoyed the tour. I do think Connemara as a whole is something you really should put on your itinerary!

The entire tour begins at 9:15 AM and ends in Galway at approximately 5:30 PM, offering eight hours of sightseeing time. A three-hour stop is allocated at the main attraction, the monastery, allowing for a leisurely exploration. On the way there and back, the driver will make stops at smaller attractions and towns where you can take photos. There's a supermarket in one of the towns where you can stock up on supplies and use the restroom. The monastery itself is beautiful, with a lovely garden; however, the monastery entrance fee of €13 is not included in the tour price.

The bus ride was unfortunately very winding and the road very uneven, so it wasn't suitable for people prone to motion sickness. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Beautiful spots for photo stops. The hike was very windy but impressive. Our tour guide was also absolutely fantastic.

DJ was an excellent driver and guide. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating. The vehicle was exceptionally clean, he even wiped the condensation off of our windows so we had clear visibility as we travelled. Highly recommend!


