John's knowledge of wine, especially New Zealand wine was incredible. He made the tour interesting, even to someone like me who's not particular. Would recommend if you want a crash course on the local wines and their history.

It was a pretty rainy day, but I just couldn’t put the trip on hold. I was in the middle of researching New Zealand’s history—something I’d been meaning to do for a while. Hanoz was with me the whole time. He’s super passionate, knows so much, and is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve met. I am an old lady who needs to be taken care of. Somewhere along the way, I caught myself thinking: I really hope I get to travel with him again.

The surf course was fantastic! We were a nice small group of 5 people, and Jakob taught us the basics and was very helpful, friendly, and patient! Plus, there was cool merchandise! Thanks to Jakob and the Muriwai Surf School for the awesome experience :)

Three wineries were sampled. The last two had excellent local wines presented in an inviting manner. The pizzas, included in the tour, were very good. Allan did a great job taking us around showing us Auckland!
