In addition to the main tour, we were able to stop at several small towns during the drive. Our driver, Sue, gave us excellent explanations about the characteristics and scenery of the towns we passed, so we were able to get a feel for the town's origins and history. The magnificent Australian scenery was also wonderful. We were glad that we were able to travel leisurely with a small group rather than in a large vehicle, which suited our pace. It was a very enjoyable day.
