Reviews: Algarve: Jeep Safari with Distillery Visit & Lunch
Guest User2026-03-29
We had an unforgettable experience on the Algarve jeep safari, all thanks to our incredible guide, Ricardo! His passion for Portugal was evident in every story he shared, and his deep knowledge of the region made the tour both fascinating and fun. Ricardo’s friendly and welcoming nature immediately put everyone at ease. The tour itself was a perfect mix of adventure and culture. We ventured off the beaten track into scenic hills, crossed streams, and explored lush meadows, all in a convoy of jeeps that felt like a thrilling journey through time. Stopping in charming white-washed villages gave us a glimpse of traditional life in the Algarve, and Ricardo pointed out local customs and hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own. Highlights included visiting a small distillery to taste the potent local medronho, seeing traditional honey production, and enjoying a delicious lunch at a typical local restaurant. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and genuinely authentic.

This tour was brilliant. Tomás was a great host, very informative and chatty. He was very accommodating, allowing us to take as much time as we wanted as each stop. The tour included loads of great stops including pick your own oranges for orange juice, firewater tasting and loads of photo stops to see amazing views. The lunch was also really tasty too. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a day exploring Monchique and Silves!

We had a fantastic speedboat tour and were lucky enough to see dolphins. We were able to take our time exploring the caves as we sailed by.

We had Silva (Pedro) and Tomas as our guides for the tour. Both were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and best of all had a good sense of humour making us enjoy the boat trip all the more. We were taken into many of the caves, saw some wonderful sights along the way and listened as Tomas and Silva gave us the rundown on them all. Of course we visited the most famous Bengali cave and was fantastic as expected. Would highly recommend the trip and these two guys to lead them. My wife and I had a great morning

The Algarve is spectacular, and what better way to see the caves, cliffs, and rock formations than with these guys? Sergio and the captain made this a truly unique experience, full of humor and explaining the coves, caves, and other surprises. Sergio even offered to recommend restaurants and other things to do in the area. We highly recommend it!
Reviews: NEW Lagos-Watching Dolphins and Benagil Cave with Biologists
Guest User2024-10-20
A really lovely tour! We were very fortunate to find the dolphins almost immediately, which meant that we got to spend quite a long time watching them. The marine biologist was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting facts about the dolphins we saw. It was nice to see that there rules that are followed in how the dolphins are approached and watched. After, we headed to the coastal caves, where we could be impressed with both the natural beauty and the captain's ability to manoeuvre a fairly big boat into quite small and wavy caves! All in all, it was a great trip, just bring a jacket!
