Reviews: Royal Monastery of St. Jerome
Guest User2017-02-28
On February 21st, I visited the Jinhai Bay Mangrove Scenic Area with friends, and it was a wonderful experience. The entire scenic area covers approximately 20 square kilometers and consists of three parts: the mangrove sightseeing belt, the golden beach, and the main park. It boasts over 2,000 acres of mangrove forest, a veritable "forest guardian" of the sea, where hundreds of species of birds, insects, shellfish, fish, shrimp, and crabs thrive and inhabit, making it a rare marine biodiversity conservation area in my country. Especially since the weather was beautiful that day, with clear skies and seascapes blending seamlessly, and few tourists, the entire scenic area was tranquil and peaceful. The three of us had a great time and didn't return to our accommodation until late. The only downside was the inconvenient transportation; there's no direct bus. Apparently, there used to be a tourist bus to the mangroves, but it was discontinued due to operating losses. We waited for a long time at the designated signs, but no bus came, so we had to take taxis to and from the mangroves. Fortunately, tickets on Ctrip were much cheaper than at the ticket window, making it still worth a visit.
