It was a great experience to climb the stairs inside the castle. The guide provided a lot of details and information about the architecture, fighting styles, samurai culture and weapons as well as the history of the town and castle, which was great. The samurai experience was also really authentic and it was interesting to try the fighting style myself. The guide had great restaurant recommendations and other tips as well :)★

This was a highlight of our multi generational family holiday. Shin was our very friendly and knowledgeable guide who went beyond the tour experience. He was able to answer questions from all sides and was a great with helping to film and take photos during the experience. He went completely above and beyond in making sure we had a relaxing and fun time in Matsumoto with lots of local knowledge too! I couldn’t recommend Shin and this experience more. The samurai teacher Kai was exceptionally good with our diverse needs and went through many steps to relax, and move like samurai. So very cool to have video of each of us fighting like pros.★

We had a wonderful relaxing afternoon spent with our guide Matsu. He was very courteous and provided us with lots of information about the area and the sites we were seeing. He also saved us over an hour waiting in line time by purchasing tokens that allowed us to walk right in to Matsumoto Castle. We tasted sake made on site by a family that has been making it there for 300 years using the spring water that comes out right at their front door. We also walked down Frog Street and a food vendors street. In addition we visited a 500 year old former Samurai house and a Shinto shrine with a temple. Highly recommend this tour. ★

Noemi made our day! She was very friendly, we liked her very much! We appreciated her pacience, her way to explain. Only thing we dind't like was walking without shoes in the castle, it was extremly cold for the kids, maybe if we would know before we could take an extra pair of socks with us. The samurai experience was the highlight of pur day, we enjoyed so much, the kids had so much fun and told everyone it was their favorite experience in Japan.★

The two attractions in the east were really great, but one day didn't seem enough time to see them all. Next time I'll definitely need to stay overnight! The vouchers they gave us were fantastic!!
