This was a great tour! Vito was so kind and accommodating! He is from Matera and is very knowledgeable. He also has a great sense of humor. We didn’t want the tour to end. I highly recommend ApeVito tours!

The day was fabulous, Michaela the Alberobello guide was wonderfully informative and we were glad to have the guided tour to learn more about the Trulli, why they were there and we had a lovely tasting from a family shop of oil, cheese salami and the Tarallini biscuits. Next on to Matera where our guide was Pasquale and again he was very passionate about the information that he shared but it was very interesting and I enjoyed his style. Be warned though a guided tour of Matera may not be for you if you have trouble walking up hill and at pace, it’s an ancient city with uneven steep steps so if you have trouble walking or are unfit maybe go it alone so you can go at your own pace. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, it was well run and well organised, I would highly recommend it.

Perfect! We were absolutely dazzled! Bartolo was fantastic! We loved the boat trip and discovering all the Polignano caves and their secrets! We highly recommend it!
