Reviews: Vaux le Vicomte Chateau Entry Ticket and Chateaubus Transfer
Guest User2025-10-14
Shuttle bus left Paris exactly on time, was waiting where it was supposed to for transit back to Paris, and left Melun exactly on time. The Chateau was beautiful, well-furnished with period pieces, extremely well-maintained - especially the grounds. The pre-recorded audio guide told an interesting story of the chateau, and made the experience more meaningful.
Reviews: Fragonard Paris: Mini Perfume Workshop

This is a great activity to learn about perfume making. Just be advised that there's a sales pitch at the end, too. You do not have to buy anything though. The tour is very professionally led through the museum with insights on the history of perfume. This is followed by the workshop making your own bottle. We loved it. My daughter was so into it that she wants to learn more about it all. Our guide was fabulous and the whole team at Fragonard seem highly engaged and enthusiastic about their work. This made it all that much more enjoyable. We did buy other scents later as their products are exceptional. We will enjoy them for a long while to come.
Reviews: Fontainebleau & Vaux-le-Vicomte Châteaux Day Tour from Paris

The Vaux-le-Vicomte audio guide is very immersive, adding an interesting dimension to the visit; you feel transported back to the 17th century. However, there's no time for lunch if you want to see everything.
