Pleasant ride, I slept all the way. They don’t pre assign the seats when they issue you the physical ticket when you enter the so called pre immigration zone. They issue you the seating arrangements at the boarding counter instead, via physical stickers.★

Board the ferry at Sheung Wan Ferry Pier. It's conveniently located just a short taxi ride from Harbour City through a tunnel. Use the QR code to exchange for your ticket, then go through customs and wait in the waiting hall to get your seat number. Ferries depart for Taipa every half hour.★

Booking was super easy, with a 0 baht promotion. But it was raining the day we went, so we changed our minds and didn't take the ferry 🥹. However, Macau has a lot of free transportation options these days, both ferries and buses. We'll try the ferry next time!★
