Firstly, our tour guide, Lili, was great. The coach transfer and inclusive buffet breakfast exceeded expectations. Seeing the salt flats is a very surreal experience and undoubtably beautiful. HOWEVER, the majority of the advertising shows the picturesque mirrored reflections from the salt flats in the wet season. There is no mention that this is only visible in the wet season and what months of the year you can expect to see it. I booked this especially for my birthday (at quite the expense), so you can understand my disappointment, when it is not as advertised. I understand my failure to not research more thoroughly, but I still feel there should have been more obvious mention to this/less emphasis on the wet season. The salt flats are an unusual natural occurrence that not everyone is familiar with. I felt misled and so did the other visitors on our tour guide. Please do you research before booking this, to avoid the same disappointment. As I said, it is still beautiful, but not always as pictured.

Beautiful hike to laguna Esmeralda and some nice stops on the way. It wasn’t touristic and no touristtraps along the way which we really appreciated. The guide was very helpful and spoke english. He had lots of cool photo ideas at lake esmeralda for us and took the photos of us. The lunch (cheese empanada, banana and cerial bar) was a nice surprise. Would recommend.

Even though we booked the tour at the very last minute, just a few hours before it started, it was absolutely wonderful! Our guide, Nickey, provided engaging and detailed information about the traditions and sights, and answered all our questions. The tour lasted even longer than we expected, and it was truly informative and engaging! Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. Nickey continued to help us and answer our questions even after the tour. I definitely recommend it.

Our guide (I wish I knew his name!) was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge of the Tiwanaku ruins was amazing and stretched far beyond what was on displays around the ruins. He was so organised and helped anyone on the tour that needed support or had further questions. I am from England with basic Spanish so I am very impressed with his English and being able to switch so easily from Spanish if I did not understand! Amazing tour I could not recommend this enough! Thank you


