Reviews: Vang Vieng 1-day tour [hot air balloon ride + Tham Jang, underwater cave + zipline + kayaking + lagoon 1]
Guest User2026-03-31
The tour is packed with activities and allows you to cover all the top locations and activities in one day. The hot air balloon ride is a unique experience, offering stunning views and a truly fun adventure. Ziplining among the cliffs, kayaking, caves, and tubing in a dark cave, along with blue lagoons—you'll see and enjoy them all. While it might be a bit overwhelming due to the sheer number of activities, considering local logistics, it's best to choose the all-inclusive option. The guide was with us throughout and answered all our questions. Lunch was served in a beautiful location.

It's a genuine Laotian number, but an eSIM costs more than a physical SIM card at the operator's office. I installed the Unitel app and was able to access my account, where I can add new packages at the regular price (though I had to return to Thailand early, and the 10-day card was just enough, so I didn't try it).
Reviews: Luang Prabang 2.5-Hour Mekong River Sunset Cruise + Dinner

Everything was great, but the seating arrangement was disappointing. I'm not sure if it was random assignment, but the seat wasn't good.
Reviews: Luang Prabang: 2-Hour Sunset Cruise + Dinner [A ONE CRUISE]
Guest User2026-01-03
I really enjoyed the cruise. I took the dinner package—the food was delicious, including dessert and ice cream at the end. The ship itself is two-story, with beautiful, comfortable lounge chairs. The staff is very attentive. I definitely recommend it!
Reviews: Luang Prabang Pak Ouv Caves + Kuang Si Waterfall 1-day tour [Mekong River cruise to Pak Ouv Caves]

I used this tour while traveling alone, and it was a series of pleasant surprises! It was an English tour, but the local guide who was in charge spoke excellent Japanese! Apparently, he had lived in Japan for three months, and he spoke to me in Japanese, which made me feel very at ease since my English isn't perfect! Also, I thought the tour would end with just visiting the cave and waterfall, but he took us to two local villages and we had lunch at an elephant camp, so I got to interact with elephants, which was wonderful! Crossing the Mekong River by boat was also a very valuable experience! We were supposed to be able to see the sunset, but the weather wasn't very good so we couldn't see it, but I was having so much fun that I didn't mind! I didn't have to force myself to talk to the other people on the tour, so I, who am not good at English, had time to enjoy myself at my own pace, which I also appreciated! Even though I couldn't speak English, the people around me were very kind and spoke to me, so I think even Japanese people who are worried about communicating in English will enjoy it! I highly recommend it!
