I bought an eSIM for my trip, and it's really convenient. I activated it directly through the app before arriving in another country, and as soon as I landed, I had internet access: no need to find a store or figure out tariffs on the spot.
I like that you can store multiple profiles and quickly switch between them—for example, one for Turkey and another as a backup. And my primary number stays on my regular SIM card, so I don't miss anything.
A few caveats: you should check in advance that your phone supports eSIM and carefully read the terms and conditions—not all plans include calls; sometimes they only include data. But it's sufficient for my needs. Overall, it's a great option for those who travel frequently.★

I used it in Aarhus, Denmark; Byunilis and Kaunas, Lithuania; and Bologna, Venice, and Milan, Italy. It took about 5 minutes to connect after entering Denmark, but after that, it was reliable and problem-free. My stay was 3 weeks, but when I called the toll-free number to check my remaining data, the call was in Chinese, which I couldn't understand. Accessing the website required logging in, which was frankly confusing. I think it would be even better if there were more explanations regarding these things. That said, overall, I would recommend it.
