The former Chikurin-in Temple is serene and elegant, its Japanese garden reflecting a tranquil and healing atmosphere, full of Zen spirit. At dusk, arriving at Lake Biwa, the vermilion torii gates float on the water, reflecting the sky and creating a breathtaking ambiance. The journey seamlessly connects art, Zen temples, and lake views, offering a comfortable pace. This short day allowed for an immersive experience of Shiga's unique scenery, with every view unforgettable, making it a truly worthwhile trip to the Kansai region.★
