The ferry journey was very smooth. The boat is wide and large, ensuring stability and safety even in the face of huge waves. There weren't many people on board. Free watermelon and butter biscuits were provided. See the picture below for the view from the boat windows. There was also a counter for issuing boarding passes. Date: 2026/7/1.★

Booking a package including pick-up and drop-off on Ctrip is more cost-effective. Buying just a boat ticket can be expensive for those unfamiliar with the area or going for the first time, requiring a separate taxi ride. This package costs an extra 20 baht per person and includes pick-up and drop-off. Most people stay near the beach, and a taxi to the pier is quite a distance, starting at least 100 baht, making it relatively hassle-free.
It's best to choose a spot where you won't get wet on the boat. If the waves are high or it rains, you can easily get soaked. The boat will be fast and rocking a lot, so take seasickness medication beforehand.★

Everything was simple and clear. The journey was very quick, much more pleasant than the ferry. We all got really sick on the ferry, but not on the sleepboat! We had a big one, so that was no problem either!★

The tour was superbly organized. A minibus arrived at the hotel and took us to the pier within an hour. There, we were given stickers and boarding passes based on our lists. Two hours later, we arrived at Tonsai Pier. On board, in the Economy Lounge, they provided tea, coffee, water, and motion sickness pills. Everything was perfect. The captain passed Maya Bay, Pele Bay, and the Viking Cave, giving us a great view.
