The data plan lasted for 10 days with active use. Japan has excellent 5G connectivity. I followed the instructions to activate the eSIM card and had no issues.

I joined the tour on November 15th. The bus was almost full, with people from many different countries in the group, but it was always our compatriots who were late. Sigh. Our tour guide, Vivi, was very good. She had to speak the exact same thing in three languages, which must have been quite tiring. The stops at each attraction were short. It was pretty much a quick visit, but there was no other way, as it was too far and time was tight. The weather was so-so this time, mostly overcast, but during a brief break in the sunshine, I saw half of Mount Yotei and immediately took a picture.

It worked well enough and connected right away once landed, didn’t have to contact support, instructions were pretty clear. Hope it doesn’t count towards my days as I installed it from the app and then it started activating but not sure if it activated properly as I was still in Canada.

Very friendly family run Homestay , close to walking street and the room is clean , walk thru alley and no cars pass by but accessible with motorcycle
