We didn’t quite know what to expect but we were delighted with the day. The train was relaxing and scenic, the boat ride exhilarating and fun, the bamboo beautiful and the onsen hot, hot hot! Our guide Itsuki was amazing and facilitated the whole day to perfection whilst being personable, fun and educational. It was our best day in Japan and that’s saying something!
