Reviews: Japan Tokyo Izu 1-day tour: Mt. Omuro + zoo + scenic train experience + Jogasaki Coast
Guest User2026-03-28
We met up near Tokyo Station and were very lucky to meet Mr. Li from Guangdong. He has worked hard in Japan for many years and drove a long way. Despite the long drive, he did his best to introduce everything about the trip to us. Although we encountered a huge traffic jam, we still had a lot of fun!
Reviews: Tokyo 1-day tour to Mt. Omuro + Jogasaki Coast + Ito Marine Town, including free cable car ride at Mt. Omuro

Our tour guide, Mr. Hu, was very responsible, diligent, and provided detailed explanations. The driver drove smoothly; both were excellent! The itinerary in Izu was well-planned. Mt. Omuro was beautiful on a sunny day—it was a very enjoyable day! 🥰
Reviews: Izu Tokai Bus Free Ride Pass "Ito & Izu Kogen 2-day Ticket"
Guest User2026-02-13
I bought this for my family; it's very convenient for the elderly to use. You get a numbered ticket when you board, and collect it when you get off, plus show the driver your 2-day pass voucher on your phone. The ride is incredibly smooth. The Komuroyama Ropeway also has a 50 yen discount, and 17 facilities offer discounts.
Reviews: 1-day tour to Izu Kyuko Line + Jogasaki Coast, including train tickets

The scenery was beautiful, the itinerary was well-organized, and the most impressive person was our tour guide, Samuel. He was enthusiastic, fluent in both Chinese and English, and had a good understanding of humanities. The scenery was delightful, and the tour guide was a pleasure to have.
Reviews: Small Group of 9 | 1-Day Tour of Mt. Omuro Panorama in Izu | Includes Ocean View Train Ride + Optional Hotel Pickup + Chinese Service

Mt. Omuro, located on the eastern side of the Izu Peninsula, shares a striking resemblance to Mount Fuji, both being conical in shape, resembling a fantastical hill straight out of a painting. At 580 meters above sea level, Mt. Omuro was formed from pyroclastic debris accumulated after a volcanic eruption, making it a representative example of Japan's volcanic scree hills. At its summit lies a 30-meter-deep crater. Viewed from above, Mt. Omuro's nearly symmetrical, perfectly conical shape attracts numerous tourists due to its beautiful form. With its landscaped greenery, Mt. Omuro boasts beautiful flowers blooming year-round, drawing large crowds during peak blooming seasons. A cable car connects the summit to the base, offering panoramic views of the Izu Kogen and Sagami Bay. A hiking trail encircles the crater at the summit. On a clear day, one can even see Mount Fuji, at 3766 meters, in the northwest direction. From different vantage points atop Mt. Omuro, one can enjoy panoramic views of Izu Oshima, the Amagi Mountains, Mt. Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, and the boundless Pacific Ocean. Nestled at the foot of the mountain is the "Sakura no Sato," a 40,000-square-meter area planted with 3,000 cherry trees. Every year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they adorn Mt. Omuro with a tapestry of pink blossoms, creating another breathtaking scene.
