Our guide was Ramiro, he speaks very well English and I could practice with him my Portuguese. He is a very good person and knows the Faial well, has a lot of interesting stories to tell. We were picked up at the location of our apartment, that was really nice because the day started with rain. We started our guide in time, together with 4 more people. I really liked the formal of a small group (we were just 6) and felt very comfortable in a group with great people. It was fun! During this day we explored the Faial island, the culture of people who live here and also shared some stories with each other about traveling and our experiences in Açores. I loved the capelinhos volcano - it was impressive and thanks to Ramiro for enough time to explore the location around. The great lunch is included in price. And the price is reasonable, it’s worth it 100%!

A lovely tour with lots of historical and biological information. The meeting point was a bit misleading. It would be better to specify "in front of the hotel" instead of the address behind the hotel.

It was an absolute blast!The jumps aswell as the descend from the waterfalls where thrilling but Not to hard and the Guides were absolutely amazing! It was the Highlight of the entire Trip and i would definitely recommend it!

A lovely ride through stunning countryside. We were shown and told a lot about the local flora and fauna. The horses are well cared for, and the stables, with their adjoining bar and restrooms, are very attractive. We received a very warm welcome.


