Super convenient and cheap! Viettel is definitely the way to go when traveling to Vietnam and Phu Quoc! The signal is consistently excellent and stable. Just set it up, and you can connect as soon as you get off the plane, plus the speed is fast! Compared to the other physical SIM cards my husband bought (which had terrible signal, even at full bars it was slow), my eSIM was the only one with a stable signal among the four of us 😂 I was responsible for creating a hotspot for the family. The internet speed test was very fast, reaching over 800Mbps (don't test it unnecessarily, it consumes a lot of data).★

I bought an eSIM card for a flight via China to Japan. I activated it before boarding the plane, so it immediately found a network upon arrival in both China and Japan, which was very convenient.
