Two things to note to improve a good tour. Firstly hop on hop off is not the right description. This is a set tour with stops. Secondly the emu rhododendron garden was not in colourful bloom, so this should be a warning in the description. Some of our party did see the platypus, and being told where to look, and "come see now" would have made us happier.

Tour guide was great, she did a wonderful presentation. It would be sad to see this animal disappear

We did the 5:20 tour- it was about 1 1/2 hours. Excellent tour. Renee, the guide, was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much and enjoyed meeting and watching the devils!

After taking us there, the tour leader dismissed us without providing specific directions to the designated attractions. The itinerary was mediocre, and while we were primarily looking for places to visit, the tour leader took us to a very inappropriate one. Overall, the tour leader's service was just average.

This is a really good experience for adults and children. There is good viewing of the young Tassie devils running around together and playing. There are also quols. The information was interesting. It is not a Zoo but a sanctuary that is conserving Tasmanian devils and working to keep the species alive in the face of the cancer that has attached the wild population. An opportunity to see a devil up close and learn about their habits.
