A great day trip that covered everything we wanted to do! The sake tasting was great and the lunch we were served was delightful. The snow monkeys were incredible to see too! Our guides were kind and knowledgeable which made for a great day.

The overall itinerary was somewhat rushed due to Japanese driver service time regulations. The Takayama leg of the trip was particularly tight, mainly because completing a meal and a full visit to the Takayama Jinya (traditional Japanese houses) within two hours was quite strenuous. Two hours was more than enough for the Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri village. The tour guide was very professional and nice, and his explanations were quite interesting. The group members came from all over the world, with mainland Chinese tourists making up about 10%, making it a very international team.

The tour allows you to explore the various location within a day. Love the scenic view at takayama. Guide is superb she could speak English, Japanese and Chinese.
