Our guide Lily was super nice and had great historical and local knowledge. She offered us to be our photographer during the tour as well, which took like 8 hours btw. She also took us to eat and we could try out some really nice traditional korean meals. She picked us up at our Hostel and dropped us out at the same place at the end (very convenient). We are definitely booking other tours too while staying in Korea.

Luckily, there were only six people in our group that day, and we were given a small SUV. Our tour guide was a Korean man who spoke fluent Mandarin; his explanations of the sights were very detailed, and the route was well-planned. Overall, I would recommend him.

Gyeongju One-Day Tour — 4/5 ⭐ A beautifully organised day trip that exceeded our expectations in terms of logistics and itinerary. 경주 정말 아름다워요! The bus was comfortable and punctual, the route was thoughtfully planned, and the selection of sites — including Bulguksa Temple and the Silla heritage landmarks — was simply stunning. Our guide was wonderfully kind and efficient at managing the group and keeping everything running smoothly. However, his English wasn’t strong enough to bring the history of these incredible places to life — we found ourselves learning more from guidebooks and online resources than from the commentary on the day. For sites with such rich and fascinating history, that was a missed opportunity. Overall, a highly recommended experience for the organisation and the destinations alone — just come prepared with some background reading to get the most out of it. 감사합니다! 🏯
