Many thanks to Nico and the crew for a wonderful morning trip where we got to see both pilot whales and dolphins. We were rescheduled from 2 days earlier, due to the poor weather, but re-arranging was straightforward and we got plenty of notice. On the day we did get to go out, the crew went out of the way to make sure that we felt at home, that we always had food and drink whenever we needed, and to help explain what we were seeing. We also appreciated that the boat never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. Unlike some of the other operators which looked crammed full of passengers. So, yes you're paying more, but we thought that it was worth it. A bonus was that one of the crew went around to take photos not just of the sea life but also of us.

Our Driver / Guide, Joao was superb ! Arrived on time and off we set. All locations visited were fantastic with Joao firstly getting us into great parking places and then giving us a full history of the location and what we were actually able to see. When we went 'off road', part of the track was closed for repairs but Joao was able to get us back on the track further down. At Porto Moniz Joao's suggested locations for lunch were spot on. Joao's driving was both safe and impressive !

It was in incredible experience and a luck to find an aquarium to do it in totally safety. We saw "l'envers du décors", "behind the scenes" and learn many thing about it. The diving instructeur is very patient and alway watchfull. For old or young divers ; do it !

We had originally tried a different company for a whale and dolphin watching tour and had no luck as they just went along the coast line. This company take you out and have spotters telling them where to go! We saw two different pods of pilot whales, stopped to get videos and pictures but kept a respectful distance! It was amazing. The speed boat ride back was hilarious too, it’s so fast. We were out for two hours and it was definitely worth the money! Only a group of 12 of us, and you can snorkel with dolphins if you find a specific species.
