Excellent SIM card: I got the 3GB/day SIM card, received it, and activated it immediately in Russia. Upon arrival in Japan, it turned on and worked right away. Just follow the instructions, and you'll be happy. I mostly used it for navigation and a quick news read on the train. I used no more than 1GB a day. Other activities included watching videos, chatting, and video calling—all via hotel Wi-Fi in the evening. I always had a signal: Osaka-Kyoto-Nara-Hakone-Tokyo.★

It's very easy to activate—just press one button (on your iPhone) and voila! The connection is stable everywhere, even underground. The speed is excellent, there are no lags, and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend it!★

The signal is unstable. After watching videos for a while each day, the signal becomes extremely slow, and even mobile payment functions become unusable.★

Overall, it was very good. There might have been a few occasional disconnections when driving in areas with no signal. It was well worth the 10-day trip. I used the internet almost constantly because I was driving, and needed Google Maps and music. I barely needed to use the hotel Wi-Fi at all. It's great! I've saved it as a favorite and will definitely buy it again.
