This Hong Kong-to-Taipei transit plan has two advantages. First, you can buy cosmetics, bags, sunglasses, etc., at Hong Kong's DFS duty-free shops at prices lower than after the tax refund in Taiwan. These can be found at the DFS Galleria at the airport. Remember, if you're dining at the airport, choose the restaurant on the right-hand side of the DFS Beautiful upper floor, as the restaurants on the left are increasingly expensive. Another advantage is that mainland Chinese residents transiting through Hong Kong to Taiwan can stay in Hong Kong for up to 7 days per entry, without needing a Hong Kong and Macau travel permit, by presenting their Taiwan flight ticket, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, and Entry Permit. Once in Taipei, I recommend applying for a Youth Travel Card at a tourist information center (located at major MRT stations, such as Taipei Main Station, Zhongxiao Fuxing, and Jiannan Road). It's free; all you need is your Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents. This allows you to purchase half-price tickets to attractions like the National Palace Museum, Taipei Zoo, National Taiwan Museum, and Miramar International Ferris Wheel, provided you are under 30 years old.

Little time for the wildlife park, photoshoot with wombat, koala and kangaroos. Lunch at lobster shack is Fish and chips, upgradeable to lobster for a fee. Pinnacle was an eye opener. Sand dune, sand boarding and 4-wheel drive ride was the most fun. Nice trip. Convenient bus pick-up and drop-off.

It was very interesting to see nocturnal animals. The guide was friendly and the dinner was good. The prise of Barna mia isn’t included in the price, we had to pay 25 dollars by person more

The island is beautiful, and I highly recommend visiting spot 11 to see the beach; the scenery is comparable to the Great Ocean Road. However, it's said you can see whales and sea lions there, but we didn't see any, which was a bit of a disappointment. If you want to see quokkas, you can actually spot them at the restaurants at spots 1 and 19. There's also a small chapel next to spot 19; you can see many quokkas along the way up the path.

The ferry arrived very punctually. It's best to arrive the recommended 30 minutes before departure to get a good spot.
