Reviews: Full-Day Guided Bruny Island Tour from Hobart

We did the Bruny Island Day Tour and had been really looking forward to it and it absolutely delivered.
Andrew was our guide and driver, and he was fantastic. You can immediately tell how knowledgeable he is about Tasmania and how much he genuinely loves Hobart and the outdoors. He also has a real soft spot for Bruny Island, partly due to his family history there, and that personal connection made the whole experience feel much richer and more meaningful. He’s super chatty, easy to listen to, and always happy to answer questions or just have a good conversation along the way.
The day itself was really well paced. We worked our way from the north of the island right down to the south, with the tour lasting around eight to nine hours, but it honestly didn’t feel long at all. There were so many beautiful stops throughout the day, plus plenty of chances to try local produce and little delicacies, topped off with a great lunch at the Bruny Hotel.
Overall, I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hobart. It’s also completely sold us on coming back and spending more time on Bruny Island itself next time.★
