It was a great excursion. They picked us up at the Flores airport because we were arriving from the capital, then we went to Peten to pick up more people and then we left for Tikal. Everything was very clear with the agency, I recommend them.

We visited on 11th March and had a lovely guide who was very informative, passionate and humorous. Unfortunately I can’t remember his full name but I know it began with an N. He made a real effort to give lots of valuable information about the history of the site and had a keen eye for wildlife, alerting us when animals such as monkeys, baby crocodiles and toucans were present. The site itself was impressive and not too busy, and the day was complete with a beautiful sunset across the ruins, accompanied by the sound of howler monkeys.

The journey was on time, but the suggestion to order the lancha to Livingston was less ideal for us: cramped space on the bus.
