We enjoyed visiting Pompeii; it takes almost a whole day to see everything. If we were to do it again, we wouldn't go to Herculaneum; we found the visit less interesting and parking is difficult.

We had a great time on this excellent tour and we learned a lot. We were particularly impressed by our guide, Paulo, who responded to all questions, gave us an in-depth description of life in Pompeii & Herculaneum, and enlivened our experience with his enthusiasm.

Everything worked well with the Naples Pass. The Pompeii audio guide is not recommended at all. Herculaneum was great, with good audio guides.

If I could rate this experience higher, I would! This was absolutely incredible and we LOVED our guide, Michael. He was so very knowledgeable and was clearly so passionate about sharing what he knew with us, and it made the experience so much more enjoyable! We appreciated having a guide who could help give context to what we were seeing, and shared his knowledge with passion and love, because it made the time more educational and meaningful. This is an experience we will never forget and highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it! Additionally, the company was very communicative about scheduling details (train time change, etc.) and responsive when we had any questions.

Paulo was a wonderful guide! This was my 2nd tour with *** (1st was Coliseum) and again, I wasn’t disappointed. We had a small group of 6, and Paulo was very informative about the history of Herculaneum. It was really interesting to learn all about the city. We saw 4 or 5 rich houses, a restaurant and the men’s and women’s bath houses. We learned about what archeologists believe life was like when the city was lively, etc. and overall it was a good tour. Paulo is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and it shows. I chose not to see Pompei, and see Herculaneum instead. I’m not sure if it was the best choice or not. I did very much enjoy seeing the original frescos, tiled floors, and artifacts that were still in the city (and museum also included in the ticket fee).
