Perfect. We went by public transport. The Palace is very beautiful, and the gardens are too. The Palace is very easy to visit. There's a lot of history about Sissi.

Our tour guide was amazing! He was so knowledgeable! It turned out that he plays in the theatre so he had all the information and was able to present it in a great way engaging everyone. One of the best experiences with a guide that I’ve had. The travel from Budapest to Gödöllö was also nice - great driver, nice woman who was a tour guide for the Spanish part of the group. She spoke English to some extend and full respect goes to her for trying to explain some things to us even though it was very difficult for her! We knew in advance that we would be travelling to the royal palace with a Spanish group and Spanish guide so everything was well described and organised.

Our guide Adam was fantastic. He explained everything perfectly back in Budapest. We were the first group to tour the rooms. It was completely deserted. We were so lucky. The free time in the park was also lovely in the sunshine.


