Panda Valley and Dujiangyan are two treasure troves where you can escape the crowds and enjoy the natural environment. Panda Valley offers close encounters with pandas and boasts a beautiful and refreshing natural setting; Dujiangyan is magnificent and spectacular, with a rich variety of delicious food in its ancient town. The entire trip was very comfortable. Our driver, Jiang Wensong, was friendly, enthusiastic, and patient, driving smoothly and safely. He recommended delicious restaurants and a time-saving and energy-efficient route. The guide in Dujiangyan provided humorous and engaging explanations that also helped us understand the water conservancy project.

Our visit to Dujiangyan was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Andreas. From the very beginning, he was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful in how he shared the history and significance of the site. Andreas has a real talent for bringing the ancient engineering marvel of Dujiangyan to life. He explained complex ideas in a way that was easy to understand, while still being rich in detail and context. We especially appreciated how he connected the history to modern-day China, which made the experience feel even more meaningful. Beyond his knowledge, Andreas was patient, friendly, and attentive to everyone in the group. He made sure we were comfortable, answered all our questions with enthusiasm, and even gave helpful tips for the rest of our trip. Thanks to Andreas, what could have been just a sightseeing trip became a memorable and enriching experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Dujiangyan!

We had such a wonderful experience at the Panda Base, largely thanks to our tour guide, Zoey. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the pandas and conservation efforts, but she is also one of the kindest people we've met. Her warmth made the trip feel personal and special. I was extremely satisfied with driver Xiao Cui on this trip to Dujiangyan! He was warm, honest, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. His driving skills were smooth and safe, and the car was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable ride. He was very familiar with the roads in and around Dujiangyan, and his itinerary was well-planned, avoiding detours and wasting time, making the entire trip worry-free and reassuring. Along the way, he patiently introduced local attractions and offered practical travel tips, answering all my questions—he was very reliable. He proactively helped with my luggage, and his attitude was gentle and polite. Overall, his service far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Dujiangyan. Choosing driver Xiao Cui will definitely give you peace of mind, comfort, and confidence. I will definitely choose him again next time! If I could rate him, I would give him 100 points. The guided tour was well-organized and highlighted key points, making it both interesting and informative. The service was warm and attentive throughout, with a patient and friendly attitude, timely reminders of important information, and consideration for everyone's pace. Under the guide's guidance, we not only admired the magnificent water conservancy projects but also learned a wealth of historical and cultural knowledge. This was my first time visiting the panda base with a private tour. Our guide, Xiao Liu, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only prepared local fruits for us to enjoy on the bus, but also arranged a sightseeing tour upon arrival at the base, minimizing our walking distance while maximizing our panda viewing experience. He even allowed us time for shopping – truly fantastic!! The driver was both smooth and efficient, ensuring a comfortable return to the hotel for a rest!!

We booked just 1 day in advance a 'private' car trip to Chengdu's Panda Valley and Dujiangyan - Area. As soon as we got a confirmation (at 11pm!) the commuicative staff set up a WeChat (WeiXin) - Group for our trip. Over this group different agents checked in with us, all directly immediately responsive and in English. The driver - we booked 'just' a driver, non Engkish speaking - was already involved. He was used to communicate with a translation app - so no problems at all. We even arranged some different timing and some in between stops with him. Great experience!! Easy going, personal, friendly, helpful and with a very reasonable fair price . Definitely a big recommendation!!


