I truly loved this trip; the Maldives is a paradise on earth. The beach villas were wonderful, especially the older folks, who loved them. There was a huge white sand beach right outside the door. My husband and kids loved the water villas; you could snorkel right in the middle, and the water was incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend the optional activities: don't miss the deep-sea fishing; the snorkeling trip was fantastic (but requires some stamina if you want to go all day); and seeing the dolphins is definitely worth it! The staff were also incredibly friendly. After we changed rooms, we forgot a portable Wi-Fi device in our room, and the cleaning staff kindly brought it over that evening – so kind of them!
