Driver sent message to inform he would be late and will reach by 8.15am. Shortly, he messaged me that he had reached unfortunately we would be ready by 0815. Detian waterfall was nice . Driver led us to the entrance and told us to message him when done. Overall, 覃师傅 was a responsible driver, 覃师傅. Lastly, you need to pay rmb48 for the bamboo boat ride to have a close encounter to the waterfall. The experience was nice but encountered selfish tourists a couple and a toddler girl who stood at the front boat and blocked other passengers view.

I made a special trip to Detian Waterfall in Chongzuo this weekend, and it was far more pleasant than I expected. A shuttle bus from the visitor center took me directly to the viewing platform. As soon as I stepped off, I was enveloped in a wave of mist. The roar of the waterfall crashing against the water could be heard from afar. Walking closer, I saw Asia's first transnational waterfall cascading down the tiered cliffs, splitting into two tiers between the green mountains. The mist floated in the sunlight, and even the breeze was cool. Walking slowly down the path, you can reach the riverbank below the waterfall. Walking in the cool water, you can see the water crashing against the rocks, creating silvery sprays. The view is breathtaking, with lush Chinese mountains on one side and Vietnamese villages and mountains on the other. Along the way, I encountered many local vendors selling local delicacies; the spring rolls were soft, sweet, and reasonably priced. The overall itinerary was just right, not tiring at all. Whether you enjoy taking photos or simply want to escape the heat and relax, it's suitable for a border trip and would definitely recommend it to friends.

I only booked flights and hotels, and didn't visit any popular tourist attractions. It was great to be able to enjoy a less crowded holiday during Golden Week. Both flights were very punctual.
