If you are traveling through Southeast Asia or into China, getting an eSIM is easily the best decision you can make for staying connected. I used a multi-country plan for my recent trip, and the experience was flawless from start to finish.
Purchase & Setup
The purchase process was incredibly straightforward. I bought mine through an app, and the setup was a "one-click" installation. There was no need to hunt for a physical SIM card at the airport or fiddle with a paperclip to swap cards. It activated instantly, which was a huge relief right after landing.
