Luis is the best tour guide. He's well informed about the history of Cuenca and Ecuador as a whole. The tour is also perfect for a solo traveller... He recommended dishes, and my oh my. I enjoyed trying out new cuisine. The most memorable part of the tour was when we went to the museum, and learning about the people that recycles waste. I have so much respect to all the people that work so hard to keep our environment safe yet they are not well appreciated. They have no salaries too... but continue to keep Cuenca safe. I was so touched about their journey. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Not forgetting the architecture - spectacular. I would def do this again★

Flavia was very professional and knowledgeable!! She answered every question that I peppered her with, I am a curious person and asked copious amounts of questions about flora etc. The two hikes were great, we especially loved the higher altitude hike even though my lungs did not like it. We enjoyed being with Flavia and invited her to Canada to stay with us, she is a great tour guide and a great person and we loved the Andean Highlands!!!★

My wife and I went on this tour. We paid a little extra to get a private tour and it was well worth it. Our guide was Wilson and he was excellent. He answered a lot of questions that i brought up, so he obviously knows his stuff. Can’t recommmend highly enough this tour.★

We booked a group tour to Cajas national park, with a focus on birding. Edison was really responsive and helpful. We had an amazing day, the park itself is staggeringly beautiful and Edison took my (rather ambitious) target species list and set to work, really focussing on the birds I wanted to see and allowing enough time to see the scenery. I was amazed at the success of the day - we saw much more than I thought we would. Also a delicious lunch included! 100% recommend - Edison is a top quality birder.★

I have never learned so much of Ecuador within a day. After living in Quito for several months, I left this tour with a deeper knowledge of Ecuador’s geography, artisanal traditions, people, and way of living. Our guide, Diego, is very knowledgeable and educated of all things Ecuador. Our walks through the town were very informational, where he thoroughly explained each detail of each stop. Also, don’t skip out on the lunch of the hornado en Gualaceo! By far my top favorite Ecuadorian dish!!!
We truly appreciated and enjoyed this tour, and wouldn’t have imagined leaving Cuenca without experiencing this well thought out, intentional, and culturally immersive tour! Gracias Diego por enseñarnos tu bella ciudad!
