Each stop was enriched with clear explanations, historical curiosities, and local anecdotes that brought the places we visited to life. Aveiro enchanted us with its canals and colorful houses, while Coimbra left us breathless with its history and splendid university. We had a wonderful day trip with Mario. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. His tour company (Unique Journeys) provides a really great tour, and I'm sure all of their guides are great. If you get Mario, you will be very fortunate!
