Excellent!! The driver was very attentive and responsible, and drove very smoothly. I usually get carsick, but I didn't get carsick at all on the mountain roads of Alishan this time!! He also gave us detailed introductions at the scenic spots and took us to take photos 😭 He was so responsible; I didn't expect to get such a great customized tour for this price.★

I appreciated the convenience of being able to purchase tickets in advance and the reasonable price. Although I was told that I could issue my ticket by scanning the QR code at the station's ticket machine on the day of travel, in reality, I needed to present my passport at a staffed ticket counter (exchange at the counter in both Taipei and Taichung). During peak season, the ticket counters get crowded, so it's best to head to the station with plenty of time to spare. It also seemed possible to issue tickets for dates other than the day of travel in advance.★

It worked overall fine. We always had data but the performance was not stellar. I don't think we were even reaching the capped 10Mbit/s but it was fine for browsing and paying with Alipay.★

Excellent tour guide and driver. Besides explaining the objective facts, the tour guide added his own insights, and you could feel his passion for Alishan. The driver drove very smoothly; even on the winding mountain roads, I didn't get carsick at all – fantastic! 👍 This solo trip allowed me to meet fellow solo travelers DL and other lovely fellow travelers. We helped each other and explored Alishan together, making it a very enjoyable trip. The grilled sausages outside the Taoist temples were delicious! The only necessary expense during the trip was the Alishan Forest Railway (NT$100); everything else was optional.★

Because of the flight delay, I had to adjust my schedule. I really dislike Ctrip's shirking and pass-the-blank work style. Not only did they waste my time by constantly making phone calls while I was abroad, but they also ruined my mood.
