The visit to the lava fields was impressive. During the tour, the guide provided fascinating background information about Mount Etna and the lives of the people living on the volcano's edge. The tour concluded with a tasting of regional specialties. These were all excellent, although they weren't enough to fill you up.★

The tour itself was great, the drive there and back went smooth. I do recommend that anyone who does go dresses warm, it was really cold. Sweaters and pants are a must! Also the bus should get a First Aid kit, it didn’t have one, and we needed it.
